EZKR Accountants and Consultants announces sponsorship of Andrew Svoboda, Westchester resident, son of staffer, in US Open Golf Tournament.
Summary - June 17, 2009 - EZKR Accounting and Consulting of White Plains announces it's sponsorship of Andrew Svoboda, a Westchester resident, in the US Open Golf Tournament this month in Bethpage, LI at the Black Course. Andrew is also the son of Susan Svoboda, CPA, of Larchmont, an employee of EZKR. Howard Klein, managing partner of EZKR stated that "My partners and I are delighted to be able to sponsor Andrew. His mother has been with EZKR a long time and we've watched Andrew win many tournaments as an amateur golfer. We hope to see many more wins as a professional.
White Plains, NY - June 17, 2009 - EZKR Accounting and Consulting of White Plains announces it's sponsorship of Andrew Svoboda, a Westchester resident, in the US Open Golf Tournament this month in Bethpage, LI at the Black Course. Andrew is the son of Susan Svoboda, CPA, of Larchmont, an employee of EZKR.
At the sponsorship announcement Andrew stated that, "he was proud to wear the EZKR logo and representing such a great company in his
bid for the US Open championship".
Andrew Svoboda grew up in Larchmont and started caddying at the Winged Foot Golf Club, where his father was a member, when he was 11 years old. Andrew was the Club Champion from 1999-2003. He also won the MGA (Metropolitan Golf Association) Player of the Year in 2003, the 2004 Met Amateur, 2003 Met Open and the NYS Open at Bethpage Black in 2007.
Andrew graduated from St. John's University in 2003, where he won 13 College events, including the Big East Championship in 2001 and was a quarterfinalist in the 2004 US Amateur at Winged Foot and a semi-finalist in the 2004 British Amateur at St. Andrew's, Scotland.
He is a graduate of St. John's University and is 28 years old. Andrew currently works for Bobby Heins at Old Oaks Country Club in Purchase NY as an outside operations assistant. This will be Andrew's third US Open.

Andrew Svoboda - background:
Andrew grew up in Larchmont, NY. He started caddying at Winged Foot Golf Club when he was 11 years old. His father was a member at Winged Foot from 1972-2008. He was the Club Champion at Winged Foot GC from 1999-2003, the MGA (Metropolitan Golf Association) Player of the Year in 2003, and won the 2004 Met Amateur, 2003 Met Open and the NYS Open at Bethpage Black in 2007.

This will be Andrew's third US Open. He also played at Winged Foot GC in 2006 where he missed the cut by a shot, scoring 75-75. He played in last years US Open at Torrey Pines where he finished T-71 scoring 77-71-74-78. Andrew played in 9 USGA events, two US Juniors, four US Amateurs.
Andrew currently works for Bobby Heins at Old Oaks Country Club in Purchase NY as an outside operations assistant. He also competes on the mini-tours, mainly the NGA Hooters Tour and finished 3rd on the 2008-2009 NGA Hooters Tour winter series money list.
