Douglas S. Ruttenberg, CPA - Partner

Doug began his career at Warner Communications. In 1982, he joined the accounting firm of Kleban, Weingast and Zucker CPAs and became a partner in 1989. The firm later became known as Weingast, Zucker and Ruttenberg, LLP. Doug is a founding partner of Eisman, Zucker, Klein & Ruttenberg, LLP. (EZKR) and head of the Tax Department. He has extensive experience representing individuals, families, estates, trusts and a diversified group of businesses and their owners. He advises clients in the areas of tax, retirement and business planning needs. Clients include architecture and design firms, law firms, family and closely-held businesses, medical practices and the individual owners. He has advised clients on the purchase and sale of businesses and new business ventures.

Doug is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants where he serves on the Partnerships and LLCs Committee. He has spoken before numerous organizations and associations on various tax matters and has testified in court proceedings related to the transfer of assets among parties.
