Douglas S. Ruttenberg, CPA

Douglas S. Ruttenberg is a founding partner and is head of the firm's Tax Department. He has a broad business and tax practice which includes counseling individuals, closely-held businesses and family owned businesses on a wide range of corporate, tax, trust and estate planning issues. He advises his clients in the areas of retirement planning and business form and counsels clients on strategies to minimize income and estate taxes. He is experienced with business clients in professional entities in the medical and legal professions, architecture and design, real estate, manufacturing and wholesaling and foreign owned US Corporations.

He has spoken to many groups and organizations including the NYSSCPA's Westchester Chapter on tax and business issues related to choice of business entity and accounting methods, residency and retirement plans.

He is a member of the NYSSCPA's Partnership and LLC Commiteee and the past treasurer of both the Ridgeway Elementary School and White Plains Middle School PTA's. Doug has been named to the Advisory Board for The Club at Briarcliff Manor, a fee for service continuing care retirement community being developed by Integrated Development Group LLC of Northbrook, IL, as New York's premier luxury senior retirement community.
