Carl Calvanico, CPA - Partner
Carl began his career in 1992 working as a staff accountant for Broadwall Management Corporation, a private real estate company. In December 1994, he began his public accounting career at Rosen Kleiman & Co., CPA, P.C. For ten years Carl worked in the audit, tax and small business departments. He was responsible for training and supervising staff members and began developing a client base.
In 2004, Carl joined EZKR as a member of the Litigation Support services department. He also worked on clients in the audit, tax and internal audit department preparing publicly traded companies for Big Four audits. Carl also continued to develop and manage his client base.
Throughout his career Carl has worked with a wide range of clients, including USA affiliates of foreign corporations, numerous consolidated entities from both an auditing and tax prospective, real estate, construction, retail and service companies, bankruptcies, medical and legal professions, manufacturers, not for profit organizations and high net worth individuals and their related businesses. Carl also has experience in the representation of individuals and businesses before the Internal Revenue Service and other taxing authorities.
Carl has participated in community service answering questions for the Annual Tax Hotline sponsored by the Westchester Chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. In September 2010, he wrote an article on Small Business Safeguards that was published in the Westchester County Business Journal.
Carl is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is currently serving on the Manhattan Chapter of the NY State Society of CPA's Litigation Services Committee.
